Duet live coaching is the latest addition to Twill's Intelligent Healing Platform™. Our platform hosts a variety of evidence-based, digital-first care products and services, which we combine into Sequences™—proprietary, condition-focused configurations of Twill offerings and third-party services that seamlessly integrate with a customer’s existing resources to deliver more personal, precise, and connected care.
Duet offers human connection that complements Twill’s digital-first care experience. Duet pairs each client with a live coach, who will work with them to identify their wellness vision, and develop SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time-bound) goals to achieve that vision. Unlike other digital coaching offerings available in the marketplace, Duet leverages Twill tracks, activities, care communities, and resources to help individuals along their journey—which not only helps them reach their goals, but also provides lasting tools for ongoing support.
As a digital-first company, Twill designed this live coaching program to complement our digital offerings. We selected YourCoach.Health as a result of a thorough search for a partner who could team up with us to provide a high quality coaching experience that meets Twill’s high standard of care. YourCoach is a leading operating system for behavior change, and a virtual home for all things health and wellness coaching. Powered by coaches, they are an end-to-end HIPAA-compliant practice management platform, and a one-stop-solution for cultivating coaching and client relationships and achieving real, lasting health outcomes. YourCoach expands Twill’s access to a wide network of National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (NBHWC) certified and/or accredited coaches, allowing us to offer experienced coaches with the specific backgrounds, skills, and knowledge suited to a diversity of unique needs. Lastly, the full stack of YourCoach APIs means Duet is available within Twill products—providing a seamless, end-to-end Duet coaching experience.
To more fully integrate Duet coaching into our products, we’ve trained YourCoach in our proprietary Duet coaching protocols, which guarantees the high standard of care that people expect from Twill. These protocols were carefully designed to ensure that clients receive a consistent coaching experience grounded in Motivational Interviewing techniques; Mental Health First Aid; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) training; and the use of SMART goals to achieve lasting behavior change. Additionally, in Duet sessions, our coaches incorporate the Twill STAGER skills (Savor, Thank, Aspire, Give, Empathize, and Revive) that are core to Twill tracks and activities. The protocols help coaches guide people back to Twill products, where they can find tools and resources that will help on their journey.
From the very beginning, the Duet enrollment process ensures that all participants are actively using Twill products. To jumpstart the journey, our AI concierge leads a process that collects helpful information about the client, which can be shared confidentially with the coach—allowing the pair to engage more quickly in meaningful exploration of the client’s desired wellness goals.
Duet coaching is here to offer a more personalized, more connected path of engagement with Twill’s science-backed activities and resources. With live coaches acting as an extension of the behavior change science that is foundational to the Twill platform, the coach-client relationship builds trust and accountability while empowering members to explore their potential and increase overall well-being. While coaching isn’t therapy, we anticipate that Duet will become a powerful complement to other behavioral health services, and empower our members to reach their wellness goals through positive behavioral change.
